WITH JAMAL RAHMAN
“Sell your cleverness and buy bewilderment.” - Rumi
In this session, Sufi teacher Jamal Rahman invites us into the heart of a wisdom tradition that doesn't deal in answers, but in presence, paradox, and transformation.Â

With stories drawn from Rumi, the Qur’an, and his own interfaith journey, Jamal will help us see suffering not as a detour from the spiritual path, but as one of its most intimate teachers.Â
This is a session for anyone who wants to live with more compassion, walk gently through grief, and tap into the well of knowing that lives deep within us.

What if the path to transformation begins not with striving, but with letting go?

With her characteristic clarity and depth, she will reveal how suffering, mystery, and consent to God’s presence form us in ways beyond our own efforts.Â
Drawing on both contemplative practice and her rich theological background, Sarah offers a spacious, compassionate perspective on the journey of faith—one that leads not to escape from the world, but to deeper union with God and greater love for life.

Drawing on decades of accompanying gang members and those on society’s margins, Greg shares profound insights on kinship, tenderness, and the illusion of separateness. Why the World Needs Your Shadow Work

What if the real source of division in our world isn’t just “out there”—but hidden in the parts of ourselves we’ve left in the dark?
In this session, Dr. Connie Zweig—Jungian therapist, bestselling author, and longtime contemplative—invites us into the sacred work of shadow integration. When left unexamined, our unconscious patterns drive reactivity, projection, and spiritual bypass. But when we turn toward the shadow with awareness and compassion, we open the door to healing—not just for ourselves, but for our communities and the wider world.
Through stories, insights, and contemplative tools, Connie explores how this inner work becomes a practice of love, humility, and moral integrity. She reveals how even our disowned creativity, joy, and longing can be reclaimed as sacred fuel for transformation.
Whether you’re a leader, seeker, or spiritual companion, this session offers a powerful invitation: to face what we’ve disowned, and let the shadow become a path to wholeness.

This somatic and embodiment practice will guide you through gentle movement and breath, inviting you to soften and come to presence with the subtle stirrings and energies within your body. In this inner attunement, we come to rest in contemplative embodiment through our whole being.Â
There will be pauses for rest and nourishment, moments to be held in stillness, and an offering of Sacred Song — carrying you into the merciful embrace of the Mother. From this wellspring of boundless love, we will extend compassion outward, together, for the world.Â
-
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Heather Healy creates spaces where body, spirit, and soul meet in practices that nourish and restore. Blending movement, stillness, plants, song, and community, she offers embodied experiences that invite healing and wholeness.
Movement has been central to Heather’s life from childhood ballet to a lifelong devotion to yoga. Through yoga she discovered breath and stillness as gateways to presence, and a way to guide others back to themselves with gentleness and care.
About a decade ago, sacred song began to rise within her like an underground spring. At first private, this gift eventually called to be shared. Heather now offers her voice as a vessel for blessings she feels come from the Mother—songs of spirit moving through her.
Her reverence for the natural world has also shaped her path. Drawn to trees, waters, and the wisdom of her Celtic Christian roots, Heather honors earth’s sacred rhythms and finds guidance from the communion of Saints, especially St. Brigid. Herbs and flowers have become her teachers too, carrying both medicine and presence.
Since 2012, Heather has taught restorative, yin, and gentle yoga. She has completed multiple yoga trainings, Asia Suler’s Intuitive Plant Medicine program, and is currently expanding into sound healing through advanced certifications. You can listen to her Sacred Songs and explore her offerings at heatherhealy.com.

The Womb of Silence
WITHÂ PETER TRABEN HAAS
What if silence isn’t the destination, but the womb of something greater?
In this session, discover how contemplative practice can transform religion beyond rigid literalism into a living encounter with love. Drawing on his journey with mentors and contemplative communities, Peter Traben Haas explores how silence opens us—not to escape the world, but to return more grounded, creative, and compassionate.Â
Together, we’ll reflect on the fine line between spiritual maturity and spiritual arrogance, the temptations of dogma even within mystical circles, and the fruit that proves authentic practice: love for God, self, others, and creation.Â
Through story, wisdom, and prayer, Peter invites us to see silence not as an end in itself, but as the space where grace flows, creativity awakens, and our deepest gifts are birthed.
-
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Rev., Dr. Peter Traben Haas rises each morning watching the light shade from dark to dawn, and the still silence births words. Peter earned a B.A. from Moody Bible, an M.Div. from Princeton Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. What if creation itself is praying all around you—and inviting you to join in?
Christian animism offers a way of seeing that is as old as scripture and as fresh as the morning breeze. The voices of rivers, stones, winds, and birds are not metaphors but living presences, carrying wisdom and prayer into the heart of God.Â
In this session, you’ll be invited to rediscover the harmony that unites heaven and earth, angels and thunderbirds, church liturgy and the song of the forest. Through stories of fasting, vision, and daily gratitude, we’ll explore how embodied practices—like blessing food, facing the sun in prayer, or walking with reverence—can root us in communion with all creation. Come listen for the prayer that is already rising from the world around you.

The 4 Paths of the Mystic
WITHÂ MATTHEW FOX
Could your creativity, your grief, and your longing for justice all be forms of prayer?
Mystics have long spoken of the via positiva—the path of wonder—and the via negativa—the path through darkness and letting go. Matthew Fox expands this ancient wisdom with two more: the via creativa, where our creativity becomes prayer, and the via transformativa, where compassion fuels justice and renewal.
Together, these four paths form a map of the spiritual life—guiding us through joy, grief, imagination, and courageous action. In this session, Fox draws on voices like Hildegard, Eckhart, and Julian of Norwich alongside indigenous wisdom and contemporary science, showing how the fourfold way is both deeply rooted and urgently relevant for our time.
Come discover how beauty, loss, creativity, and justice are not separate journeys, but one integrated path into the heart of Divine love.

What if the images rising within you held a wisdom deeper than words?
In this session, Alexander John Shaia introduces the hidden power of image-based meditation, or cataphatic prayer—a contemplative practice that engages imagination, symbols, and sensory experience as a way of prayer.Â
Drawing from his Lebanese Catholic roots, where chanting, incense, and icons shaped his spirituality, Shaia will share how this path invites us to move into images rather than empty them away. Through practices like sand play, he shows how creating and sitting with images—without rushing to interpret them—can open us to transformation, healing, and a deeper knowing of God’s presence.Â
Rooted in both ancient Christian mysticism and Jungian depth psychology, Shaia will reveal how images guide us through life’s seasons of change, trial, and renewal.

A Joy That Holds in Suffering
WITHÂ RICHARD BECK
What if the secret to joy isn’t found on your best day, but on your worst?Â
In this conversation with psychologist and theologian Richard Beck, we talk about the surprising shape of joy.
Richard will reveal why the usual ways we chase happiness—success, recognition, self-esteem—leave us empty, and how real joy shows up in unexpected places like a prison cell. Instead of playing endless “hero games” of comparison and achievement, joy grows when we remember that we matter, that we belong, and that life itself is a gift.Â
Through it all, he will show how joy is less a fleeting feeling and more a meaning-making practice that carries us through suffering.Â

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr. Richard Beck is a distinguished psychologist and the Senior Fellow of the Landon Saunders Center for Joy and Human Flourishing at Abilene Christian University. An award-winning author and speaker, he has written extensively on the intersection of faith and psychology.

Beck's work integrates insights from positive psychology, mindfulness, and Christian spirituality, offering a compelling vision for human flourishing.
