Fr Lenny Tighe is a retired diocesan priest from New England, who has loved and studied the life and spiritual legacy of Charles de Foucauld for more than 50 years. The life and character of Charles de Foucauld is an amazing life story, which has recently come into the English-speaking world. Fr Lenny was a parish priest and hospital chaplain for over 50 years. He is well traveled and has given many retreats to sisters and priests who share his own spiritual journey and experience of finding Charles de Foucauld. Fr Lenny is retired and living in South Carolina. He has edited 4 books on the life of St Charles, and continues to keep track of his website, with his very active St Charles Facebook invisible community. What is our foundation for contemplative life for Christians living in the sacred mess of humanity? We are companion with Jesus in living the radical Gospel “crying the Gospel with your life” as St Charles prays. Fr Lenny continues to attract and share his passion for Charles de Foucauld: believing St Charles to be a contemporary model and invites each of us to find our own unique spirituality of an ordinary life in our own Nazareth.
